i have a caique he's a jem. he used to sleep in a string tree at the top of his cage,then i bought him a toy that talks (pretty bird, ilove you,etc) it hangs near the bottom of his cage. now he sleeps on the bottom ovf his cage on his back holding on to this toy. now i wake up in the middle of the night to pretty bird every time he moves. i thought all birds slept in tree and nests.

Lala is my inspiration to get up in the morning,
I would recommend a Caique highly as a parrot, but I wouldnt recommend as a first parrot, as they can be demanding and unpredictable.
